500+ Km Range Pravaig Defy Electric SUV Launched In India

India-based electric vehicle startup Pravaig Dynamics has launched its first offering, the 'Defy' electric SUV, in the Indian market at a price tag of INR 39.50 Lakh. Pravaig has revealed that the Defy electric SUV will offer more than 500km of real-world range on a single charge and a top speed of 210 kmph as well.The Pravaig Defy electric SUV uses a 90.2 kWh battery pack to churn out 402 bhp and 620 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all four wheels using a dedicated all-wheel-drive system. Pravaig claims that the battery is expected to last 2.5 Lakh kilometers. It also gets a fast charging capability that allows 0-80 percent top-up in just 30 minutes.The design of the Pravaig Defy, which is based on the company's 'Brutal Sophistication' design philosophy, is highlighted by angular styling with sharp character lines and Range Rover-inspired styling cues. The electric SUV sports a flat-roof design, integrated spoiler, 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, raked front and rear windscreen and a connected LED tail lamp cluster. The rear bumper gets a faux diffuser as well. The Pravaig Defy electric SUV will be offered in a total of eleven colour schemes. It has a ground clearance of 234 mm.Inside the cabin, the Pravaig Defy gets an interior made from sustainable fabrics and vegan leather. The Pravaig Defy EV is loaded to the brim with features to further accentuate its premium appeal. It gets a large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options, a Devialet sound system, panoramic sunroof, multiple wireless chargers, climate control, ambient lighting, two high-power USB-C ports, along with a touchscreen for the rear passengers as well. Pravaig says the cabin offers 1,050mm of headroom and 1,215mm of legroom to the occupants.Pravaig claims the Defy electric SUV to be the ‘most sustainable and privacy respecting electric vehicle ever.
